TAMABI BOSAI EXPO 2025
Illustration project from my exchange semester to make a warning-poster in order to raise awareness towards earthquakes and nature disasters. Since many of the informative posters you see in Japan rely heavily on illustrations sometimes with cute characters where text becomes secondary, I decided to use it as an inspiration for this poster.
The poster was later shown in a exhibition at the university which became a collaboration between Graphic Design and Product Design faculty. This exhibition was about what role can art and design play in disaster prevention that explores awareness and initiatives for disaster prevention through the power of art, design, and physical expression. The poster was made in Adobe Illustrator and printed on a big format printer. The size of the poster is
1030x728mm and took about two weeks to complete.
